Missing South Uist man urged to get in touch

NORTHERN Constabulary are keen to trace 39-year old South Uist man Douglas Walker – also known as Dougie – who has not been seen by friends or family since Monday, August 2012.

Dougie is 6 foot in height, of a slim build with short, dark brown hair.

He normally wears jeans or black work trousers, work boots and a black jacket.

He also has distinctive tattoos of a hinge on the inside of each elbow.

Police are looking into whether he may have travelled to the mainland and may be with friends or family.

Dougie’s family are keen to confirm that he is safe and well, and everyone would like him to get in touch.
