Stornoway Amenity Trust are making a splash for the start of Festival Week by placing four beautifully carved seals on South Beach Street.

The carvings were done by Uisdean Paterson of Aird Tong, who also carved the Cow on Macaulay Road and the fisherman on the pier.

The Trust Chair Charlie Nicolson and the Committee met with Comhairle Leader Angus Campbell on Tuesday to present the carvings.

The Amenity Trust is pleased to confirm that the fair and the Continental Market will be in town for Carnival Week at the end of July.
