Acair Books are delighted to announce the publication of Wild Lewis – A’ Mhòinteach Mhòr, a stunning first photography book from passionate wildlife photographer, Frank Stark.
Based in Lochs, Frank lives and works in Lewis and his camera travels with him
The result, a beautifully detailed collection of wildlife photographs, accompanied by bilingual Gaelic and English captions, depicting the rich environmental heritage of the Isle of Lewis and sights frequently missed by the casual eye.

The book will be formally launched at 6pm, May 14th, atLews Castle College, where
local author Peter Urpeth will be in conversation with Frank and a selection of the
author’s photographs will be displayed.
