Twelve pupils from Sgoil Lionacleit recently visited Glasgow’s SECC to see and experience the vast array of radiations that make the modern world possible.

The S2 pupils also visited the Science Centre seeing a 3D film on the evolution of aquatic dinosaurs. The trip was organised by Mr Hogg (Physics), and was accompanied by Ms Carla MacDonald (Chemistry).

The trip was made possible by a generous transport grant from the Society for Radiological Protection.

The picture shows the pupils observing a ‘map’ of radioactive elements.
