The Conserving Scottish Machair LIFE+ Project will be holding a public meeting on Thursday October 27th from 7-10 pm, at the Dark Island Hotel.
This will be an opportunity to give and receive feedback on our work across the Uists and to discuss with crofters and other members of the public how the project is progressing. We would particularly like your ideas on three key issues:
1. Seaweed Collecting 2011/2012: working with Townships
2. Machinery: current project capacity, new machinery and post-project legacy
3. Crop Protection Scheme
Tea and coffee refreshments will be available.
