NEARLY 40 Rainbows from Point, Stornoway and Back joined together on Saturday, May 28, for the 2011 Rainbow Riot.
The plan was a day out in Bernera, and despite the unpromising weather all the Rainbows turned up with buckets and spaces, as well as wellies and waterproofs, for their day out.
And what a fantastic day they had! There were long enough breaks in the downpours to enjoy the new playpark in Bernera, and a couple of hours in the sunshine on the beach! They had a lovely lunch in Bernera Hall, and a visit to the fire station too.
A big thank you to the leaders who organised the trip and to everyone who helped on the day!
