MEMBERS from the 2012 40th School Reunion group presented Stornoway RNLI and Leverburgh RNLI with monies raised during the Reunion weekend in April this year.

Over £600 was donated to each of the island stations, and Reunion group chair Dave Macleod said: “We decided on the RNLI as one of the organising team – Rodney Cheggs Jamieson – is on the Stornoway crew and we also had members of the new Leverburgh crew at the reunion.

“We also wanted to keep the money local and the job that both Stornoway RNLI and Leverburgh RNLI do is so important to the islands, so it is a great charity to donate to.”
