Referendum cafe

Yes campaigners in Lewis and Harris have noted an upsurge of interest locally in the referendum and Independence.

It seems that many people would like the opportunity to discuss some of the issues and questions before finally deciding which way to vote.
People in Back will  have the opportunity to do just that on Saturday 25th January when the Hut is open from 12midday - 3pm to allow anyone interested to drop in and discuss their issues over a cup of tea.
A spokesperson said: “This will be a very informal afternoon to allow people to come and discuss their hopes and concerns around the referendum and Independence. It is hoped people of all ages from 16 up will take this opportunity to discuss these important issues.”
Teas, Coffees and home baking will be provided.
