Scottish Water will be holding a public meeting in Stornoway to discuss the utility firm’s performance and their plans for the future in the Western Isles.
The meeting, hosted by Scottish Water’s chair, Ronnie Mercer, will take place at 5.45pm at the Caladh Inn, James Street in Stornoway on Wednesday 22nd October.
Peter Farrer, Scottish Water’s Chief Operating Officer, said: “At Scottish Water our customers are our main priority. In building value and trust in the essential services we provide, it’s vital that we give communities the chance to tell us what matters most to them.
“I would encourage anyone in the area to attend our meeting in Stornoway where they will be given a very warm welcome.”
Mr Farrer, who will be joined at the meeting by Chief Executive Douglas Millican, added: “We’re looking to the future and putting plans in place to ensure we continue providing supplies of high quality water to all our customers, while protecting the environment.
“This is an excellent opportunity for customers in the Western Isles to meet with us and help shape the direction of their services in the future.
“People can confirm their attendance by Monday 13th October online at: www.scottishwater.co.uk/consult or by calling 01383 848272 and questions can be submitted in advance when confirming attendance. The Scottish Water team look forward to meeting and chatting with local people.”
