The eleventh annual Point Agricultural show took place on Saturday, July 12th, and as tradition dictates, it drew a huge number from the district and beyond.
The show has become a key date in the summer calendar and a major community event which caters for all sections of the community.
Supreme, pedigree livestock, cattle and sheep, a large selection of farming vehicles and equipment, a dog show, an appearance from the Lewis Pipe Band, a huge selection of prize winning home grown vegetables, flowers and fruit.
Hand made creative designs of fruit and vegetables, home baking, artwork and sketches, photographs and craft projects and for the youngsters - more fun filled activities than you could shake a stick at.
From bouncy castles, stalls to win prizes and treats, shooting skills practice, face painting and snacks and treats.
Taking place at Aird showground, at the old Aird School, the show was officially opened by former MP for the Western Isles Calum Macdonald.
