Are you creative and looking for a sales outlet? Do you have an exciting product to tantalise early Christmas shoppers? And are you looking for something exciting to spice up a wintry Saturday?
Sporsnis is hosting a Festive Food Fest on Saturday November 16th, organised by the Volunteer Centre North Lewis.
It will feature a variety of exciting elements to involve the community and help prepare for the festive season ahead.
Food plays an important part of any family occasion, so this event will present fresh ideas and introduce new items to savour.
Amongst those participating are: The Good Food Boutique from Stornoway who will bring an exciting range of delicacies; Donald McKee will be demonstrating how to carve fruit into swans and other fascinating shapes; Louise from the Decca will be bringing an inspiring range of preserves, artisan breads and chocolate, and Sabine Weiten is bringing a range of speciality teas, tisanes and gift ware.
There will also be Master baker Julie Inger who will have an incredible range of beautifully decorated cakes; Doro Rieder introducing a fabulous range of German baking and gifts, and Chef Paul Moorby will be revealing exciting options for Gluten-free treats.
There is also the prospect of addressing that daunting present list, with a unique range of good quality art, craft, textiles and photography from incredibly talented people.
Come and be inspired. Snacks and teas will be available throughout the event.
Marlene Macleod is also organising a craft session for children; and local charities are welcome to use this opportunity to raise funds.
Have you got something unique to share? Tables can be booked for £10 by contacting Joan at the Volunteer Centre on 07778 549 837 or Sporsnis reception 01851 810 039.
