Spot the bottle around the Scottish coast

Round Table’s National Charity for this year is the RNLI and to that end, they want to visit every lifeboat station in the country with a large green inflatable bottle.

The Coastguard helecopter kindly agreed to take the bottle from Lochinver to Stornoway and then Stornoway & District Round Table visited the Stornoway lifeboat station with Coxswain Murty Campbell. Then they took the bottle by road and ferry down to Castlebay, then handed over the bottle to Skye Round Table for their visit to Portree lifeboat station. SGD. 22455

Over the past week or so, the bottle has meandered up the east coast, through Inverness, then headed north through Wick and Orkney. At the moment it is on its way to the Aith station in Shetland.
