Stornoway bank staff takeover charity shop

Staff from Stornoway’s Bank of Scotland branch are stepping into the world of retail this Friday (November 23rd) when they take over the running of the Save the Children shop.

Senior manager Donald MacDonald and three of his colleagues will staff the shop on the day and have been busy over the last few weeks collecting new stock to boost the charity.

The move is part of a national Lloyds Banking Group initiative with Save the Children who are currently the Banking Group’s chosen national charity.
