This week there are plenty of prizes on offer, for our worthy students at the Nicolson Institute and their gallery of success on pages 10 and 11, to the heroes of the Natwest Island Games, which took place in Jersey.

The triumphant team Western Isles return with a total of 17 medals and some inspiring tales of the highs and lows of competition, find out more in our special round up spread of the event from pages 36 to 40.
