The market stall in Tarbert, Isle of Harris will resume on July 16th at 11am outside the Community Centre and will run throughout the summer.
Local producers hope to be able to offer an even greater variety than last year. This is a wonderful opportunity to buy really fresh vegetables, fruit and salad, often picked that morning. Most of the produce is grown naturally without the use of chemicals and pesticides – an important factor for those concerned with looking after their health and the environment.
The following weeks should see additional products as summer fruit and veg comes into season, Advice on preparation and cooking can be given by the knowledgeable volunteers running the stall, so don’t be afraid to ask.
The stall runs from 11am – 12-15pm every Saturday outside the Community Centre in Tarbert.
