Tesco is to commence a delivery service for items in their Direct catalogue from their store in Stornoway. The service will allow customers to call and place orders and have the products delivered to the store for collection four days later.
Commenting on the new service, Tesco store manager Kevin Poke said;
“We are delighted to offer this service to our customers in Stornoway and the surrounding areas. Customers can pick up the phone and place an order, the products will be delivered four days later to the store for them to collect. Given the current cost of delivery to the island this service will not only offer our customers greater choice but also huge savings on delivery too.
“Our first delivery with the new service will be this week and we are looking forward to our customers using this new facility in the run up to Christmas.
Customers can call 08456004411 to place an order.
Restrictions do apply to larger items such as white goods and some larger items of furniture.
