A public information sharing meeting to provide details of the final stages of the recovery of the Transocean Winner will take place at 7:30pm on Tuesday 13th September 2016 in The Nicolson Institute’s Assembly Hall, Stornoway.
This meeting is open to anyone to attend. Hugh Shaw, the Secretary of State’s Representative (SOSREP) will chair the meeting and Transocean (Dave Walls), SMIT Salvage (Sylvia Tervoort), Offshore Heavy Transport and Marine Scotland (Jim McKie) will be part of the panel.
There will be presentations followed by a question and answer session. It is anticipated that the meeting will run until 9:30pm.

“The meeting will enable people to speak directly to me, Transocean, SMIT and Marine Scotland about any of the issues they have with the next stage of the process.”
