Hi-Scot Credit Union is making the most of its new Volkswagen Campervan which was funded by The Barclays Community Finance Fund.
The Credit Union, which is based in Stornoway, was awarded funding of £42,000 for their innovative project idea - to use the distinctive campervan as a moving billboard.
It will be one of the last VW Campervans to be made after production stops this December. Currently Brazil is the only country to still produce the iconic vehicles and Hi-Scot manager David Mackay (pictured) travelled to Bristol, where the van was converted, to pick up the newest member of the team.
Three years ago Hi-Scot Credit Union, which has been operating in the Western Isles since 2006, extended its reach to cover the Highlands and Islands so the van will be clocking-up miles around the county visiting shows and following all the big events as well as travelling throughout the islands.
