It wasn’t just the Red Hot Chilli Pipers turning up the temperature on the final day of this year’s Heb Celt as the sun split the sky from dawn to dusk.
Festival goers were out in force for the all day event on the Castle Green which saw performances from Dougie Maclean, Fatherson and the Red Hot Chilli Pipers on the main stage and Karine Polwart; Anderson, McGinty, Webster, Ward and Fisher; and The Boy Who Trapped the Sun on the Island Stage.
Dougie Maclean was on top form for his return to the festival with The Maclean Project and had the crowd singing along to his well known songs including the much anticipated Caledonia.
The Red Hot Chilli Pipers raised the roof of the big tent with their high energy performance which brought this year’s festival to an end on a high.
Take a look at our video of some of the action outside the tent with lots of family fun and a fire show for a final bit of sizzle before the close of the festival.
