Aths see off Ness after penalties
Athletic progressed to the semi-final of the ABC Cup last night (Monday), beating Ness on penalties.
The Stornoway side survived a spirited fight-back from the Nisich, having been 3-1 up at one stage.
After 120 minutes of play, both sides were even at 4-4, in a match which saw Aths' star man Gordon Morrison red-carded.
At Barvas, West Side also progressed, courtesy of a 3-0 win against a depleted Harris side.
In the weekend's league fixtures, Back took all three points at Rally Park, beating Harris 3-0, while in-form Carloway got the better of Point in a game which finished 2-0.
