Irish cyclists in Stornoway

A GROUP of Irish cyclists are due to complete an epic charity journey in Stornoway tomorrow (Thursday).
The group, from Newry and Mourne Council, including two local Councillors Sinn Féins Pat Mc Ginn and the SDLPs Gary Stokes have embarked on a marathon 400-mile 'Cycle for Hope' from Newry City to Stornoway.

The group of cyclists also includes Council employees Eddie Curtis, Anna Ovchinnikova and Noel Pepper as well as Andy Coleman, Hugh Murray and Stephen Boyle.

Funds raised will go to McMillan Cancer, Newry Gateway Club and the International Red Cross.

This is the third year that the Council has embarked on a marathon Cycle to raise money for Charity.
