The annual Linda Norgrove 10K took place at the weekend with a good number of fundraisers pulling on their trainers for what is surely one of Scotland’s most picturesque 10K routes.
Taking place in Uig, Lewis, It was the fifth annual Uig 10K which saw runners set off from Reef Machair.
But for those supporters and fundraisers unable to attend the race, they were able to run their own 10K’s at locations dotted around the world including Canada, the US, Africa and the far east,
All funds raised at this year’s event will go towards providing young Afghan women with scholarships to study medicine in Afghanistan.
