Last year's team looking cheery as they neared the end of the challenge.

A team of 50 cyclists are braving the challenging weather conditions this week to take on the Butt to Barra charity cycle.

The annual event, in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, is organised by George Murray and has raised over £28,000 for charity this year alone!

The team had a difficult first day yesterday (Wednesday) against wind and rain coming from the Butt of Lewis to Scaladale in Harris.

Today they are taking on the Clisham and the other hills of Harris before taking the ferry from Leverburgh to Berneray.
