The nominations for this year’s Lewis and Harris Footballer of the Year have been made and the king of the 2014 season will be crowned this weekend.
Twelve names have been put forward for the Senior Player of the Year prize with a massive FIVE of the final 12 coming from third-placed Carloway. Champs West Side have three in the running, Lochs have another three while Point have one nominee.
In the under-21 Player of the Year category there are six names on the final shortlist with a quartet of names featuring on both the senior list and the u21 list.
And there will also be a Goalkeeper of the Year crowned from a final pool of six names.

Goalkeeper of the Year: Colin Macritchie (Athletic); David Beaton (Carloway); Cameron Houston (Lochs); Daniel Maclennan (Point); Jack Maclennan (United).
