Eilean An Fhraoich Cup

Semi-Final 2nd leg

On a wet night in Tarbert it looked like a fair rally of the park as a large expectant Harris crowd gathered.

There was also a decent sprinkling of blue in attendance to see how this one would pan out.

Harris went into the game knowing they would have to do something they had not done since lifting this old trophey in 2011; and that would be to record a victory.

They came close to doing so last season where they led Westside 5-1 in Tarbert at one stage only to end up drawing 5-5 on the night.

They also narrowly lost to tonight’s opposition 3-2 and 2-1 in the two league-meetings between the sides in 2014, all be it against a slightly weaker looking Back team to the one which took to the field in this tie. The team was sprinkled with a host of Lewis & Harris league players.
