Lewis and Harris Darts League

The league, alas, is now reduced to eight teams writes John Norman Murray.

I have heard from a very reliable source, but not had it confirmed, that one of the Golf Club teams has withdrawn from the league.

I have not heard why but the league is small enough with only nine teams without being reduced to eight.

Here’s hoping we can boost numbers to their previous numbers by encouraging new teams to form and register to play.

If we can recruit more young players like Ciaran Peck, who had his first league win this week with a 72 checkout, the league can only prosper.
