The Lewis and Harris Rangers Supporters Club Annual Charity football match took place at Garrabost Pitch a couple of months ago, raising £1,000 for Bethesda Hospice.
The game is played each year in memory of Kenny Macmillan and money raised is donated to a local charity.
The Over 30’s had a point to prove this year after the Under 30’s made it 3 victories in a row in 2012.
In a hard fought match, the Old Team defeated the Young Team 4-2, to win the Kenny Macmillan Memorial Cup.
The game was contested in good spirits and players and spectators enjoyed a buffet and raffle in the Rangers Club after.
Pictured are Kenny’s wife Kathy, sister Etta and brother Dan, along with John and Derick of the Rangers Club presenting the cheque of £1,000 to Bethesda on October 24th.
The Rangers Club would like to thanks Lochs Motors Transport, Point FC and everyone who supported the event.
