There were a number of darts competitions played in the Sea Angling Club last weekend.

On the Friday, Alex Morrison and Finlay MacIver won the Open Doubles beating Ian Leitch and Murdo Alex MacLeod in the final. Finlay was also successful on the Saturday winning the Open Singles beating Dol Norrie MacKay 7-1 in the final.

The new season kicks off soon with the AGM taking place at 7:30pm in the Sea Angling Club next Wednesday (August 7). All are welcome, team captains for the new season should attend. If anyone is interested in entering a new team next year come along.

There will then be a weekend of darting action on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 August. This starts on the Friday at 7pm with a singles competition to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Sea Angling Club. The entry fee is £10 with a first prize of £500.

The Third annual Highlands and Islands Event takes place on the Saturday in the Sea Angling Club with the Doubles starting at 1pm followed by the Singles at 3pm. The women’s singles and doubles starts at 5pm.
