Lewis and Harris football will take ‘an ath cheum’ - the next step - this week when they travel to Alness to contest their first competitve mainland cup competition.
The newly formed Lewis and Harris Football Club are heading for Dalmore Park, Alness, this Saturday, October 5, and club chiefs are urging home supporters to be a part of this historic occasion.
Supporters can cheer the new club on in their historic first outing in Alness for the superb price of just £10 bus return ticket from Ullapool.
A supporters bus has been laid on but anyone wishing to travel must register their interest and have their name added to the list in Sportsworld, Stornoway, as soon as possible.
It is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a historic occasion for Hebridean football and cheer our boys on in their North Caledonian Cup quarter final match against Alness.
Kick-off on Saturday will be at 1pm.
