THIS Christmas sees the first ever Scottish Gaelic version of the world renowned story of The Little Prince come to television.

Based on the masterpiece of Antoine de Saint-Exupery, the BBC ALBA programme follows the Little Prince and his trusted friend The Fox as they journey throughout the galaxy, travelling from planet to planet, spreading harmony and a force of good nature where ever they go.

Will the Little Prince be able to save each planet? Will his enemy the evil Snake get the better of him? And will he ever return to his beautiful love The Rose?

Produced by BBC ALBA by Solus Productions, the Little Prince is voiced by Tony Kearney and The Fox by Derek MacIntosh.

The Little Prince – in Gaelic – will be screened on BBC ALBA on Christmas Day at 6.15pm.
