Exhibitions Coordinator Victoria Caine welcomed the diversity of the work submitted and its high quality.

She said: “The creativity and commitment of our members is our driving force and the reason for the continuing success of this annual exhibition.

“It’s always a show that the public and the exhibitors enjoy and this year we have more amazing work on show than ever before.

“The standard is exceptional and there really is something for everyone.”

Alongside the main exhibition, there will also be a fundraising auction of miniature masterpieces.

The annual ‘Small Squares’ show takes the theme of ‘Exquisite Bodies’ this year, the Victorian drawing game in which players draw part of a body, fold the paper over and pass it on.

The squares are displayed so that visitors will be able to create their own ‘Exquisite Bodies’ from the heads, legs and torsos on show.

Visitors will be able to bid for the ‘Small Squares’ in a silent auction either in person at the gallery or online on the An Talla Solais Facebook page or website.
