This year the winter cafe takes the form of a Coffee and Craft Morning, which has been arranged for Monday 12th December from 11am - 12.30pm in the MA Macleod Memorial Hall, Kenneth Street, Stornoway.

On display will be some of the children’s recent work, general information about the School and there will also be a table with a selection of crafts for sale which the children have helped produce at their craft club.

Additionally, there will be performances from the children from around 11.30am.

A school spokesman said: “2016 has been an exciting, though challenging time for the School. We have a new building which is much more suitable for our purposes, although work still needs to be completed to maximise its potential.

“We also have a new Head-teacher, Mrs Ann Mairi MacLeod, although a vacancy remains for a class teaching post.

“It will be good to meet supporters and friends of the School and update them on our work and vision for Christian Education in the 21st Century.

“All are warmly invited to come along, enjoy the refreshments and learn more about the school.”
