Driver training course

Through the Horshader Rural Support and Connect Project MIDAS training has been offered to the first team of volunteer drivers, with a second team being offered training later this month.

The training ensures basic proficiency in driving the minibus and passenger safety.

Angela Macleod, Manager, commented: “We are greatly encouraged and proud of our team of volunteer drivers who are willing to give up their time to serve the community. By having a pool of volunteers we are able to offer evening/weekend minibus services to the community as requested. We would like to congratulate them all on receiving their certificates.”
