Enjoying BB at St Columba's

Kids of Primary age enjoy team sports, games, competitions, badge work, outings and have an annual parade in the church for a Family service.

This term they have had a series of talks and film clips about life off-shore from Roderick Gillies, from Tong, whose sons attend BB.

He enthused the boys with stories of helicopter journeys, rig work and life in the North Sea.

Afterwards the boys wrote messages and put them inside some plastic bottles, for Roderick to take back with him and throw off the rig.

They’re wondering if their “messages in a bottle” will travel far and are waiting to see when and from where they will get replies.
