What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?

A Snoopy top for Amelie, my eight-year-old. However, for me it was some silver ankle boots from Topshop. I even had to pop a picture of them on Instagram.

What are you addicted to buying?

Easy. Shoes.

Best ever bargain?

The things I pick up in Italian markets. This year I bought a pale blue knee length jacket/coat that only cost €25. If I grab a bargain I always share where I got it from, I’m not a secret shopper who chops the labels out and passes the clothes off as designer.

Who has great style?

I love the way Michelle Pfeiffer looks and would most like to resemble her.

Name your favourite high street shop.

Zara.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?

So many, especially from my MotorMouth (kids’ Saturday morning telly) days. Let’s just say, cycling shorts with neon splashes teamed with an orange bumbag, plastic multi-coloured dangly earrings and Timberland boots.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

My jeans, and my wedding dress from when I married David two and a half years ago. It was my dream dress – an Alice Temperley design, and so beautiful.
