What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?

A Paul Costelloe peacock blue structured pencil dress from TK Maxx. It is elegantly classic, comfortable and flattering around the waist.

What are you addicted to buying?

A-line skirts. I’m not a big fan of tailored trousers, so structured skirts are a good alternative for me.

A lovely pair of Dior oversized sunglasses with fuchsia and leopard print frames on sale for £80 instead of £330.

Who has great style?

Victoria Beckham. She is my style icon. I love her pristinely cut, long, lean outfits which perfectly flatter the female form.

Name your favourite high street shop.

Zara. I particularly love their jeans and blazers.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?

I wasn’t the most stylish when I was 17. Looking back now, I feel the biggest fashion mistake I made was to wear flared jeans with flat shoes and a T-shirt.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?

My pair of Vivienne Westwood harem trousers. They are high-waisted and beige with light blue and charcoal grey diagonal lines on them. They are constructed with a medium weight fabric which makes them perfect for warmer seasons in Scotland, as well as holiday trips abroad.
