Fred Macaulay's Wee Tour of Scotland

After the success of his 37 date tour of England in Autumn 2015, presenter and comedian Fred MacAulay was keen to get back on the road in Scotland this year.

And as he was fed up with touring in the autumn rain, Fred has decided to book a small tour round Scotland in July.

As he explained: “Like every other Scot, I’m blown away by the natural beauty of our country .... and what better time to travel than in the summer. And if it does rain, at least it might be warm!”

After almost 18 years hosting BBC Radio Scotland’s morning programme, Fred is back where he loves working most - onstage with a ‘live’ audience.

Fred will explain the ‘live’ relevance during his show.

Approaching 30 years as a stand-up comedian, Fred’s energy and enthusiasm for comedy are as strong today as they ever were.

From the early days as ‘the rising star of Scottish Comedy’ to ‘legend’ has been quite a journey for the one-time accountant and audiences can expect a mix of politics, observational humour and maybe even a couple of fart

gags!

A tour of this size round Scotland is likely to become a staple part of Fred’s future stand up plans, along with a return to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017.
