HebCelt fans help needed for award

After enjoying the most successful year in its 21-year history, the Hebridean Celtic Festival is hoping supporters will help it win a national award.

HebCelt has been nominated in the category to find Scotland’s Best Outdoor Festival in the inaugural Scottish Outdoor & Leisure Awards (SOLA).

The awards scheme seeks to reward and celebrate the outdoor and leisure trade industry, and members of the public are invited to vote for their favourite event in 17 categories.

To support your favourite festival visit the awards website - www.outdoorleisureawards.co.uk - go to the Vote Now page, type in your name and email address and then write Hebridean Celtic Festival in the ‘Scotland’s Best Outdoor Festival’ category.

Look out for the ‘Vote for Us’ messages on social media coming soon.

Voting is open until midnight on 30 September and the top five entries in each category will be shortlisted. The winners will be crowned at the final November 27th.
