Man with Uist links gains exposure at international photo exhibition
Port Glasgow-based CJ Monk, whose father Fergus is from ‘Ard-nan-Eoin’, Creagorry, has been a regular visitor to the family croft.
The Retina Scottish International Photographic Festival will showcase the cream of international photography as well as shining a light on emerging talent.

Hide AdMore than 50 international and national photographers will take part in the two-week festival which begins on June 24.
CJ Monk first picked up a camera ago, rapidly gaining recognition and plaudits for his quirky take on conceptual portrait and fashion photography.
CJ Monk said: “The Hebrides has provided inspiration and partly helped mould my photographic style.
“Benbecula is very special to me, it’s where my father grew up so I feel a strong emotional connection.
