Showcasing this spread of photographs taken by reader Iain Maciver the pictures offer a rarely seen vantage point of our town and rural areas.

In addition to several shots of the town, including Arnish Yard and Goat Island, it shows the Butt of Lewis lighthouse at the most northerly point on Lewis and the magnificent Traigh Mhor in Tolsta.
