Probationer teacher
Thirty two newly qualified teachers from across Scotland were the toast of a special event recently as they were welcomed into the profession in Edinburgh on Thursday, June 16.
Among the new teachers, nominated by each local authority in Scotland for their exceptional performance on the Teacher Induction Scheme, was Katherine Mackinnon representing Comhairle nan Eilean Siar.
