The skirl of the pipes in the Isles this July

The 7 SCOTS Pipes & Drums (local Army Reserve for the Highlands and Islands) will in the Western Isles to perform a charity ceilidh on behalf of Bethesda care home this Thursday, July 14th.

They will also be appearing at the Army Reserve Centre (The drill hall) on Church Street Stornoway, where everyone is welcome to attend, the doors will be open at 7.30pm.

On Thursday morning at 10am they will be playing at the opening of the new Museum nan Eilean and Archive at Lews Castle, as well as playing at the Point Show on July 16th, South Uist Show on July 20th, North Uist Show on July 22nd and at the Lochs Show on July 23rd.

As well as these events there will also be a performance at Perceval Square, Stornoway on July 15th at 7pm and and on the 16th when the flag is lowered at the end of Armed Forces week. The band will march out from the town’s Bridge Centre towards Perceval Square at 6pm.

All these events are to show case 7 SCOTS Pipes and Drums as well as trying to raise funds for Bethesda.
