Soft play fun for little Hearachs

The phrase 'the kids are bouncing off the walls' took on a completely different meaning last week with the official opening of a new soft play centre in Tarbert, Harris.

The event was attended by parents and children in the area who are delighted to now have this facility in their community.

The building being utilised for the centre is owned by the North Harris Trust, who supported the project by revamping the structure to the tune of £45,000, in preparation for its new purpose as a children’s play area.

Fundraising, supported by awards from the National Lottery and the Robertson Trust, enabled local charity ‘Rionnagan Oga’ to buy £25,000 worth of specialised play equipment.
