There is plenty of good news to report this week with a number of new projects aiming to give a boost to the Western Isles tourism industry.

Amongst the initiatives unveiled is the new cycling route The Hebridean Way which stretches from Vatersay to the Butt of Lewis, see the full story on pages 1 and 8.

Also showcased is the new Eat, Drink Hebrides trail which highlights 35 different Island producers, see more details on page 8.
