There is good news for students studying on the mainland as Islands’ air provider Loganair has announced this week a special new fare offer for those travelling to and from the region, see page 3 for more details.

A project to encourage the establishment of new woodland across the Islands has been launched this week.

The initiative is being supported by the Point and SandwickTrust, find out how in our feature on page 6.

There is a great new development in the pipeline for Lews Castle College as it is revealed that plans for a 49 unit accommodation block have been submitted. The new accommodation block will be created in Bayhead close to all of Stornoway’s amenities, find out more about the project on pages 8 and 9.
