Successful fundraiser for pipe band
Sgoil Lionaclait Pipe Band held a fundraising ceilidh on Saturday night 3rd December, in the Dark Island Hotel.
The evening was very successful with more than £1,000 raised, which will go towards travel and accommodation expenses for competitions in 2017.
The committee would like to thank Roddy Shaw and Mary Bremner for being fantastic MC’s for the evening and to Grenitote Travel, Salar Salmon, MacInnes Brothers and local councillors for their assistance, the Dark Island Hotel for their hospitality, to Ronnie MacPhee and Fiona MacDonald for the hampers they donated, as well as everyone who contributed, volunteered and who support the pipe band.
