Team Leanne on course for new venture
A team of 12 took on the Baker Hughes 10k in Aberdeen last weekend raising more than £1,200 for The Leanne Fund. The funds raised will be used specifically for the project to introduce Leanne Fund services across the Grampian region, providing vital support for a further 100 individuals affected by Cystic Fibrosis and their families.
The Leanne Fund currently supports Cystic Fibrosis sufferers and their families across the Highlands and Islands. The charity was set up in 2009 in memory of Leanne Mitchell from the Isle of Lewis. The charity funds special treats and a range of support services for young people affected by Cystic Fibrosis and their families across the region.
