Veterans are getting wind back in their sails on board tall ship

The Turn to Starboard Round Britain Challenge sailed into Stornoway on Tuesday for a quick visit on its 2,000 mile expedition around the UK.

The 92-foot replica tall ship ‘Spirit of Falmouth’ set out from Falmouth on June 1st on a journey that is expected to last eight weeks.

The vessel is crewed by a team of ten veterans undertaking Royal Yachting Association training while coming to grips, in the company of other veterans, with military experiences that have left them struggling.
