A remarkable 40-years for Ruaraidh with Royal Mail

For 40 years Ruaraidh has served Royal Mail with professionalism and dedication.

It is to his credit that within that time he has always gone above and beyond to help his colleagues, and to deliver a first class service to the community! And this has always been done with good humour, a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye.

Come rain or shine Ruaraidh would always be there with the bills – whether you wanted them or not.

And though the Last Post may have sounded on his career with the Royal Mail, Ruaraidh has plenty to keep him on his toes during his retirement.

With a croft to run, and grandchildren keeping him busy he’ll find his days pleasantly full. As such a strong family man the opportunity to spend more time with them will be very welcome. I’m sure his wife Kate Effie has a list of jobs waiting too!

I’m sure Ruaraidh will miss his colleagues, as well as the members of the community that have been such an integral part of his life over the years. We wish him well on this next chapter, and hope he has an enjoyable retirement.
