Tala na Mara to re-open
Tala na Mara, the spectacularly picturesque community facility in west Harris, will re-open on Monday, they have announced, although catering facilities won’t be available till May.
It’s expected to be even busier this year, with the re-development of the nearby Seilebost School to provide toilets, showers, a laundry room and dish-washing facilities. Commercial manager Linda Armstrong said that while they will continue to organise various activities “it will be some time yet before we can again hold community events at Talla na Mara”.
